Purchase terms

If Copiscan displays your product in stock on our store, we will email you an order confirmation along with a shipping notification confirming that the items have been dispatched and are on their way to your destination.

This notification is in relation to your order. Orders for items already in stock (excluding scheduled delivery items) will normally be shipped within 2 business days of your order date.

Orders for out-of-stock items will be dispatched once the item is received from our supplier. We will give you the shipping notification once the item has been dispatched. The delivery times of your package will depend on the shipping method you have chosen at the time of your order.

To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to reject, correct or cancel any order at any time, for any reason.

All items are subject to a manufacturer's warranty and according to the conditions established by them.

If an item you have ordered is incorrectly priced, Copiscan may be able to revise or cancel the order depending on the status of your order processing. For further questions, please contact customer service by phone or email.

Your duly completed order form constitutes your offer to purchase the products or services mentioned on your order. Your orders will be considered accepted only if and when we send you, by email, a shipment notification. This shipping notification, sent by email, constitutes our acceptance of your order and represents a legally binding contract with Copiscan Inc.

The total price of your order will be charged to your credit card or your PayPal account depending on the payment method chosen when you will be notified of the shipment by email.

If you wish to cancel an order, you can request a cancellation by opening a session to your access account and canceling your order or by calling 514 745-2674. However, we may receive your cancellation request after your order has been placed and already in the process of being delivered, in which case your cancellation request may not be fulfilled.

Copiscan Inc reserves the right to refuse any return, exchange or refund of merchandise if the product has been unpacked or used. In the event of a defect, Copiscan Inc. will be able to assist you with the manufacturer's warranty.

In the event that an item you have received is damaged in transit, please immediately contact our customer service department as soon as possible. You can send an email to service@copiscan.com with the supporting documents and your order information in order to quickly process your request.

Shipping Cost

Some products may have a handling charge or excess delivery may be charged in connection with an excess fee charged by the carrier. The costs will be displayed in the "Additional transport costs" section. Some products such as large format printers may be shipped on a pallet, and etc.

Delivery charges are non-refundable if delivery or pickup has been made.

Shipping Policy

Once your online order has been placed, our order department will verify the order and process your order. Depending on the time of day and the number of orders received, the average delivery time is processed within the next 24 business hours.

Shipping costs are calculated according to the place of departure, the weight and dimensions of the product as well as the delivery destination entered as the delivery address. The costs are real, with no surprises or hidden margins.

The delivery service is carried out by partner transport companies making deliveries between days from Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. inclusive. Depending on some services, the time may be specified but not guaranteed depending on the type and mode of service offered by the carrier.

Delivery Delay

Delivery service is available across Canada wherever the carrier delivery network is available. Additional charges may apply for any oversized package, remote area or hazardous material.

Any order shipped requires a mandatory signature upon receipt of your delivery.

Note that Copiscan is not responsible for unclaimed packages as well as costs inherent in the return of unclaimed merchandise. In addition, the costs related to the reshipment of an unclaimed order to the post office within the prescribed period must be borne by the customer.

For security and anti-fraud reasons, any order paid by credit card is sent exclusively to the billing address of the credit card holder with the exception of the payment method made on PayPal or your order can be sent to a verified and confirmed address. No exceptions are allowed.

Return Policy

Before making a return, it is important to request an "RMA" return number by email at "service@copiscan.com" or by telephone for any return merchandise request. No returns will be accepted without a return authorization or approval number. Products received without a pre-approved return number will be automatically returned and at the sender's expense. Any breach of the return procedure will lead to the same result.

Please note that all sales are considered final and non-returnable. The products are subject to the guarantees of the official manufacturer or distributor. See the warranty booklet for your product in the packaging also available on the respective manufacturer's support and download page.

Delivery and shipping charges are non-refundable. All delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer except in the event of an error made by Copiscan Inc and for which an "RMA" return number has been issued and authorized. 

Price Accuracy Policy

Copiscan doubles its efforts to ensure that all descriptions, specifications and data provided by manufacturers and data providers are accurate and up to date.

Copiscan reserves the right to refuse the order, adjust or even cancel any order for products and services ordered at an incorrect price without notice from us, even if an order confirmation had been sent beforehand. If a payment has been taken or charged to your credit card and your order has been canceled, Copiscan will refund to the original payment method.

Prices are subject to change without notice and sometimes beyond our control. Due to circumstances over which we have no control, prices may rise or fall even after an order has been placed. If we are in the situation where the price has fallen and cannot be met on our part, we may cancel or put your order on hold and contact the customer to advise them of the situation.

While we make every effort to have price lists updated as frequently as possible, certain situations may arise and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may bring to your shopping experience with us.

Back Order and Special Order

In the rare event that a product (s) is out of stock, the product (s) will be placed on the pending shopping list and will be shipped when available.

If a product shows that it is not in stock but is available to order, the product is available to order and is subject to a specific wait period of up to 12 business days. Some products, such as printers and copiers showing "out of stock" on our site, can be ordered and shipped directly to us from the manufacturer. As soon as the product arrives at our warehouse or distributor, the item is dispatched the next day.

Any regular product ordered out of stock may be canceled at any time before it is shipped. For orders with items out of stock, shipping and handling charges are included with the first delivery. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.

In the event that an order that is out of stock becomes discontinued, Copiscan Inc reserves the right to cancel the order in question and to notify the customer.

The Copiscan store is safe. All of your information relating to the creation of your account up to the stage of credit card payments is completely secure, state-of-the-art. With VAT 2018 fraud protection as well as RSA V3 256-bit SSL encryption certificates, you shop in a secure and encrypted tunnel from your computer to the secure payment portal.

Manufacturer's Warranty

All products sold by Copiscan Inc have a manufacturer's warranty and the conditions and procedures may vary from one product to another, or from one brand to another. We recommend that you consult the warranty booklet supplied with your product. If you do not have a warranty booklet in the package, please refer directly to the manufacturer's website under "Support and Download" for your product. You can also contact the manufacturer to obtain information on guarantees.

Manufacturer Extended Warranty

If your original warranty expires, it is possible for certain products for you to obtain a warranty extension if the product qualifies according to each manufacturer. Please inquire with the customer service department of our store. Contact us to find out the eligible products and their cost.
